Bluetooth Connection

From the home screen, you can confirm that the POM device is connected to Bluetooth and, if not, try to connect. If the Bluetooth icon has a blue background, that means the device is connected. If it is red, the device is not connected.

SOS Alert

Besides triggering alerts from your POM device, you can also trigger an alert through the app by using the SOS Alert feature. Emergency dispatch will attempt to reach you on your mobile device and, if they can't, will send emergency services to your last reported location.

As an added safety measure, you can use the POM Safe pinning feature if you have an appointment and haven't set up appointment sync, Press the pin icon, and then choose the time you would like to pin your location for.

If you trigger an alert while pinned, your pinned location information and notes from the app will be sent to emergency dispatch to provide additional guidance if emergency services need to be deployed.

Show POM Device On Map

Press this icon to show the last reported location of your POM device on the map. If your POM is connected to Bluetooth the location will be the same as your cell phone location.

Report A Safety Concern

If you'd like to notify other users in your organization of any potential issues, you can submit a report through the app, and other users will see the information, along with location, so they can proceed with caution or steer clear. Reports are anonymous and expire after 30 days. Admins also have the ability to delete a report, but to retain anonymity they do not have visibility into who created the report.
