Firmware update procedure in POM Safe app
You can update the firmware in your POM Mobile device using the POM Safe app on your mobile device. On the home screen of the POM Safe app, click the menu icon on the top left, and then choose the "POM Mobile" option (Note: if you don't see the "POM Mobile" option, your device has not paired properly and you should review this article). Then choose the "Update Device" option and click "Update".
This will initiate the update process. The app will send a signal to your POM Mobile to put it in update mode, which will power down the device. Power it back on by holding in the side button for a few seconds, then tap "Next". After the device finishes updating, click "Done".
After the firmware update is complete, you will need to re-pair the Bluetooth connection between your POM Mobile and your mobile device. To do this, access the Bluetooth settings on your device to forget the POM Mobile and forget the device. On an iPhone, you can access the Bluetooth settings from the "Settings", then the "Bluetooth" menu item. On an Android phone, you can typically access the Bluetooth menu by dragging down the notification bar from the top of the screen. Click on the POM Mobile device ("POM Mobile" on iPhone, serial number of the device on Android) and then forget. Then go back into the POM Safe app and accept the pairing request. Then you're good to go.
