Reassigning a POM Mobile Device

Situations may arise where you need to re-assign a POM Mobile device from one user to another (employee leaves, student graduates, etc). Use the instructions below to successfully reassign a device to a new user.

  1. From the admin portal, select "Devices" in the menu.Picture1-May-21-2024-01-47-00-0036-AM
  2. Click on the device that is to be reassigned, and select "Remove Device from Subscription".Picture3-May-21-2024-01-51-02-1973-AM
  3. From the Admin portal, select "POM Users" in the menu.Picture2-May-21-2024-01-51-22-2086-AM
  4. Click on the User that is to be deactivated and select "Remove User from Subscription".Picture4-2
  5. Success! The user has been removed and the device is now ready to be reassigned to another user.
