How do I Use Appointment Sync in the POM Safe App?

Using appointment sync allows the POM app to pull location information from your appointment into the data packet that is sent to emergency dispatch. Follow the steps below to take advantage of this feature.

First, ensure that your POM profile includes your email address to appropriately sync: 

1. Open the App and click the hambuger icon.

2. Click on "My Profiles"

3. Confirm your email address has been entered. If not, enter it and hit "Done" in the upper right-hand corner.

 

Then, in any appointment in your calendar, you can include "inviteme@pomsafe.com" in the invite list, and the appointment information will sync with the app. In the event of an emergency, your exact location (including a suite number, apartment number, etc) will be sent to the dispatcher who receives your call.
